Percakapan bahasa mandarin1/1/2023 Objek penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Sastra Cina Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Sumatera Utara berupa kuesioner. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori sosiolinguistik dan teori pemilihan bahasa oleh Ervin-Tripp. Mendeskripsikan faktor sosial yang paling dominan digunakan dalam Pemilihan Bahasa Mandarin Di Kalangan Mahasiswa Sastra Cina Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan pilihan bahasa dalam komunikasi sehari-hari pada Mahasiswa Sastra Cina Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Sumatera Utara (2).
